A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales manager with a proven track record, to join a leading international bank. The role offers excellent internal and external exposure, coupled with a superb opportunity for career evolution.

We are seeking a Sales Person for a tier 1 bank. This will be to cover Luxembourg and Continental Europe, you will be responsible for marketing and selling an extensive range of innovative banking products to institutional clients throughout the region (Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium, France, Switzerland). . You will be responsible for the following: Segmenting, mapping, identifying and calling on issuer prospects for both financials and corporates in the region. Pitching/presenting services to attract business, whether new programs to the market or existing ones from competitors. Close liaison internally with the banks other ‘brands’. Building relationships with other investment banks, law firms, investor relations firms etc in order to identify new opportunities / regional trends and to promote the banks capabilities with local influencers. Liaising closely with the Product Development team to build and deliver customised solutions to clients. . As a Sales professional you will be responsible for the following: Marketing & selling. Develop and maintain relationships. Work with other sales and relationship officers to identify and obtain new business from existing client base. Develop calling plans and strategy to aggressively obtain new clients. Meet revenue goals for new sales objectives. Identify new product applications and investment product opportunities. Identify and refer cross sell opportunities. Conduct ongoing market research to review performance versus the competition. . Qualifications Strong commercial sales experience with an excellent track record of deal closure. Extensive and relevant contacts in the region (Institutional Clients). A proactive and targeted approach to sales. Excellent team player. Self motivated with a strong desire to succeed. Can work autonomously but communicates effectively within the team. Fluent French/German is highly desirable. Strong PC skills including excel, word, and other window applications. BA or BS minimum, MBA preferred or equivalent.
