Founded in 1990, Exane is an investment company specialising in three businesses.
- Cash Equities has built a strong franchise in Europe under the Exane BNP Paribas trade name;
- Equity Derivatives is undergoing strong expansion, thanks to the group's mature issuance platform for tailored structured products;
- Asset Management, the group's most recent venture, is growing strongly, drawing on a buoyant positioning in long-short alternative equity funds.
Under the Exane BNP Paribas brand name, created in 2004 when the agreement with BNP Paribas was signed, Exane provides institutional clients with research, distribution and execution on European equities. With over 90 analysts based in Paris, London, and Milan, Exane BNP Paribas’s research is the pillar of the group’s expertise and benefits from substantial investments. The equities research team covers more than 500 companies across Europe, 78% of which are non French. The sales, sales trading and trading teams (160 people) serve 2,000 clients worldwide. Drawing on its clear leadership in France, Exane BNP Paribas is asserting its position in Europe (N°1 FT-Starmine ranking for 2008).
Mission :
Joining a team of analysts, you will progressively take charge of following sector stocks and will contribute to extend the coverage of European stocks.
Notably, you will:
- Manage and promote ratings to the sales team and investors (buy-side analysts’ calls, road shows…)
- Write research reports, assemble and update forecast and valuation models for covered companies
Requirements:
- You are a graduate of a first-rate management or engineering school specialised in Finance
- You have at least 2-4 years of experience in Equity Research, M&A or strategy consulting
- You are perfectly fluent English
- You possess strong communication skills
