One of the leading Financial Services and Investment Banking Institutions within the UAE and GCC has an exciting and extremely high profile position within a rapidly growing business of Global Markets and Treasury.

Job Objectives: • Will report directly to the Head of Global Markets Product Control • Required to lead all Global Markets trading activities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements (IAS and IFRS). • Responsible for the control and maintenance of the accounting and financial reporting systems and processes with Global Markets trading, and for the preparation and accuracy of its financial reports. Skills and Qualifications: Ideally CA qualified with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. • Should possess sound knowledge of Global Markets products and transactions and have knowledge of relevant banking regulations. The products traded including Structured Credit, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX, Non Deliverable Forwards, Futures, Asset Swaps, Fixed Income and SIV’s. • Experience with IAS and IFRS and perform hedge effectiveness under IAS 39 on a monthly basis. • Be able to perform reserve calculation and provide for in GL • Have experience in dealing and working with senior business heads and managers.
