Top Financial Firm is looking to add an Analyst to its Global Surveillance team that will focus on information barriers surveillance, ad-hoc investigations that arise from internal escalations and regulatory inquires, and help with project based work on building out surveillance parameters. This person will be responsible for investigating internal escalations regarding potential trade issues flagged by business units that include Securities Division and Investment Banking. This person will interact on a daily basis with the Surveillance Analytics and Compliance IT groups to help with the development, review, and testing of new automated surveillance models and outputs. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's Degree along with 2-5 years of experience in a compliance, surveillance or other function that provided exposure to trading analysis. Must be experienced working with a wide range of financial products (including stocks, bonds, credit and equity derivatives). Candidates should have advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint (pivot tables, experience with large data sets, proficient in data manipulation and presentation). Looking for a team player that has strong attention to detail and a great work ethic. Series 7/63 preferred.
